please please please please don't...

don't let me fall sick during my greediest holiday!!
its CNY, dammit!!!
i'm feeling a sore throat creeping up on me. :(
i don't know what i do, i had a perfectly non-heaty dinner,
i only munched on a couple of custard cremes from M&S for breakfast,
and i've downed two bottles of water since i've woken up!
how is it that i can still fall sick??
its impossible...

yesterday night, had dinner at baby's place. <3
rushed down to town straight after dinner, as both baby and his fren had to get their new year clothes. i'm secretly happy i've already gotten mine.
sometimes, rushy shopping can be quite bothersome.
got a tiny bit lost in taka looking for armani exchange,
by the time we actually reached there, it was closed already.
most of the shops were closing around that time as well,
even at far east.
someone should set a rule that shopping malls should not close so early when people need to do last minute shopping for their clothes, esp approching like CNY, xmas..
then again, living in Singapore is already not too bad.
when you go to places like Australia, London, shops closes at 5pm.
people practically HAVE to go home after work,
there's nothing to do outside, no shopping, nothing.


i have a whole list of things to do before tonight.
i have to pack my bag for m'sia,
i have to get my photos printed, post some mails,
deliver oranges to baby's house cos he won't be home today at all,
i'm like errand girl for today.
meeting up with Alice tonight as well!
hahaha haven't seen her since the time we met on the MRT.
busy day, i better get started.

happy birthday mummy

lols. the first time i'm not at Cathay working on a monday,
but instead, i'm spending the day relaxing with my parents! muahahs.
today's mummy's birthday, so decided to bring her to sentosa to check out the IR!
man, its so much more completed, within a matter of months!
(once again no pics, put the blame on blogger)
this time, i got to catch a glimpse of the Universal Studios Singapore!!
hahah i saw it! its hidden in sucha sneaky corner,
until my mom chanced upon it suddenly.
and there it was, the beautiful big blue rotating globe with the golden prints 'UNIVERSAL'
emblazed on it! such a pretty sight!
only thing that was still lacking was the crowd, still pretty ghost town in that place,
with the occasional tourists here and there.
andd i saw my beloved chilis!! right outside USS,
everybody's gonna love going there for dinner,
so i guess the next time i dine there, we'd be queueing for hours before we actually get a table.
and the worst part it, i wouldn't mind queueing to eat at chilis.


went for lunch at vivo, before we went shopping for cny clothes!
yay me, i got myself two new tops and an ultra cute pencil skirt(for work) from joop!
all sponsored by the birthday mum herself! xDD loves loves loves!
well, she's gonna receive nice presents tonight and a birthday cake,
so that should make her happy! =D

then, we headed down to the far east flora thingy at upper thompson road where my mom went on this mad crazy hunt for the most prettiest flowers!
she ended up buying 3 pots of them.
i didn't actually plan on getting anything until i chanced upon a whole shelf full of packets of seeds!
then, i got the most brilliant idea to start my own mini garden!
okay, i have to admit i'm not much of a garden person.
greens are just greens to me, in fact, my favourite food is greens!
and the only plant i've ever kept is a cactus, which somehow died on me when i was in primary school.
who the hell is capable of killing cactuses right? they're like the major survivor plants but they died under my tender loving care.
fine, that was years ago, shall not bring up the past.
the 19 year old me now is perfectly capable of ensuring that her seeds grow up into healthy blossoming plants!
hello, i even bought my beloved seeds quality soil! it costs me more okay.

so, the packs of seeds i picked out were ground nuts, cos they indicated that freshly grown ground nuts were the freshest when they are harvested and roasted immediately, which sounds pretty yum to me. second pack was ladys finger~! my all-time fav! xDD
don't laugh first, when my plants grow, i'm gonna be the one laughing!
i was supposed to seed them tonight when i forgotten that i am going to Genting in 3 days,
and who's gonna take care of my babies while i'm away, especially in their infant stage?
they need proper caring, like constant watering and all.
I was considering putting this ultimately heavy responsibility on baby, but what if he suddenly forgot? hahaha that darling of mine has a memory of a goldfish! (and looks a little bit like one too.)
so the best plan is to wait till i return before i start on this magnificent planting plan of mine!
its gonna be tons of fun, like Barn Buddy comes to life!! =DD


the second piece of delight i had today was a confirmed job position!
its gonna be at Zebra! yepp, the marker company, but they do so much more!
my new working place is gonna be in the heart of the CBD area,
i hope i don't get lost again! once is enough.
its great to know that i am able to start work once i get back, instead of having to try so hard to look for a job once again.

oh, and i finally i got my hair cut. no comment on it.

i need to do abit of soul searching,
and work hard on my carelessness.
I need to learn how to prioritize, what is important.
i need to learn to be a neater person, and to not be so forgetful,
i need to be more organised or i am gonna lose out on alot of things,
and maybe even lose out on great opportunities.
once bitten twice shy.
i don't need another lesson to punish me again.
i need an organiser badly.(and a pretty one at that)

Been crazily hooked onto this new game, popkart, as introduced by baby.
It was only until he downloaded it onto my com did I try it out.
Now we're practically fighting to play the next game!
So I shall be the nice one and give way to him while he hogs my com!
I seriously can get used to blogging via blackberry, although it might be a tad slower, but when I get used to it, its a piece of cake. Heehee.

Caught Imaginarium of doctor parnassus last night, I love it so much!
We were 15 minutes late for the show though, I would have enjoyed the first part.
I missed the show hachiko, although I know its like a super sad true story, and about doggiesn I was still looking forward to it, but cathay only has super weird timings for it.:(
Next show I'm mad excited about, alice in wonderland!!! 3D!
I missed avatar in 3D already, and it would have been better.
I will miss working in the movie industry, yesterday was my last day at cathay, moving on moving on to a brand new job!

Damn, I have to cut my hair today, I hate it, dammit!!
I can't decide what to cut, I'm broke so I can't do anything that I want.
Fine, I'll decide later, gonna steal my com back now from the com-hogger!

Anyways, besides the fact that today was quite a good day,
I received an early valentines's day gift from baby!
Since I'll be away in Genting this 14th feb, he got
Me something I've always wanted!!
I only mentioned it to him a few times but this mad sweet guy was
Actually listening to me when I thought he wasn't.
He'll always go onto this 'i-look-like-i'm-listening-when-actually-i'm-
Thiking-of-somethiing-else' mode,
And if I'm in a good mood, I'll just pretend he's actually paying attention.
But anyway, wheb I got home, to me seriously major surprise,
He got me my precious glass cabinet!!!!!
You see, no wonder I had the sudden urge to clear my cupboard,
I could feel it coming!!
Yet,I didn't expect him to do it up and surprise me!!
Just during lunch today, I was still discussing with my dad on the correct dimensions for the display unit, who knew I'd be happily designing and decorating it by tonight!
:D I'm one mad delighted girl tonight!


But my surprise came with a lot of hard work,
Baby had to single-handedly carry the entire 40kg stuff back and fix it up himself,
This silly guy really knows how to make me love him so dearly, haha.
Now he's sleeping ever so soundly from the exhaustion,
Hopefully he'll be feelin more refreshed by tomorrow!

And here I am, happily admiring my masterpiece.
It still needs a lot of work, and it can fit many more absolut babies! :D
If only I had the time and chance to get more.

SUN DAY!

good morning~!
its already 11+ but i just got up with the weird temptation of packing my room.
got up about 20 mins ago, and i'm done packing my bookshelf.
everything looks seriously cramped in one shelf and quite messy,
yet i can't bear to throw away any of my books!
i have to make room before i can actually get my new display cabinet! =D
i can't believe i have such random determination, but within 15 mins,
i did what my parents have been nagging at me to do for the past year.
but its freakin` dusty, and my nose is running like nobody's business now, damn.


argh, i hate the fact that i'm super broke now.
why oh why?
can money just fall from the sky for once, or maybe i can get lucky and win like some major grand prize, no items, just cold hard CASH! *kachings*
yeah, i know, CNY coming can get ang pows right?
i'm scooting off to Genting as always during this holiday,
so only ang pows from parents, and perhaps some close relatives.
oh well, things will get better SOON, i just know it.


i'm NOT looking forward to mondays anymore,
its my turn to have monday blues.
i can't wait for next week to be over.

its my first...and hopefully my last.

it feels good to relax after a long day at work,
i'm beginning to appreciate my r&r time, even if its only a few hours before bedtime.
i spent my entire day at work sorting out a pile of vouchers,
numbers always gets my head in a whirl.
and here's the 'best' part, i'm continuing this tomorrow~!


anyways, that's not the main highlight of my night.
about an hour ago, my beloved toiletbowl got choked by yours truly,
cos i apparantly use too much toilet paper always.
and the worst part, my dad is far far away on a flight to somewhere else!
he usually clears all this mess, but without him here.
i'm left by myself, with a plumber.
thankfully, my most beloved little sis accompanied me all the way,
encouraging me to keep plumbing at the correct spot.
of course, i have to say, she was well prepared with a can of air freshener.
still, she's the most sweetest for even being in the same room with me,
and seriously, that place stinks like shit.
guess that's how you tell who are the ones who deserve your genuine care and concern.


it took my a full 15 minutes before i finally plumbered my first choked toiletbowl,
and the harder i plumbed, the worse the situation gets,
the moment you feel like giving up, and abandoning the entire situation,
you finally hear the magical gurgle emerging from the toiletbowl,
and VOILA! like magic, everything gets sucked up!
then all that's left to do is the washing up,
and oh how refreshing that part is!
i'm a satisfied girl for tonight.
for once, i cleared a choked toiletbowl all by myself, after causing it! =D

but of course, i cleaned up after that,
and i finally have the time to use the computer in my own personal time.
baby's all the way having some duty tonight,
so its a dull night, but 24 hours will fly by fast, hopefully.


caught The Blind Side, and it was sooooo good!
great show, truly touching and meaningful.
it shows that there are still really kind souls on earth,
and this world's not all bad and evil.
also managed to catch Its Complicated, and that would have made a very good
cheer-me-up movie after a hectic and tiring day at work.
i laughed so hard at so many parts!
still, didn't really like the ending. Boo.

its a fries-day tomorrow!

how interesting to be able to touch my laptop during a weekday
when i feel like i'm a robot already.
every single day its the same routine.
wake up at 7.30am, rush to work,
arrive late, start work, lunch at 1,
continue work, look forward to 6pm,
knock off from work.. go for dinner,
travel home, bathe, sleep.

even though i fell ill from having fatigue the last time,
i reckon i haven't paid even half of my sleep debt,
its only my body that is adjusting to such little sleep.
same case with baby, he's always so sleepy and we have no idea why!
we can never figure out the great answer to this mystery.
yesterday we went for a movie at 9pm, Sherlock Holmes.
it was super nice, and guess what?
we could fall asleep during the climax of the movie!
and no matter how hard we fought to keep ourselves awake,
our eyelids just shut automatically.
that was how exhausted we were from a whole day at work.

this sucks. it makes me wonder if working adults are like that too.
they can't even enjoy a movie without falling asleep.
worse part is, its an interesting movie that they're dying to watch!
does their whole life revolve around work?
i wouldn't want that to happen to me.
sheesh, yesterday's experience was bloody scary already.
i'd hate to think i can't even stay awake for late night movies,
and that's not even past midnight!

anyways, i have been enjoying work lately,
to my utter surprise.
i have been carrying an admin post at the cathay for nearly 3 weeks now.
everything seems so new to me,
and i'm so darn scared people will blow their top when i do something wrong.
but my colleagues are great people,
each with their own different yet interesting personalities
within this short three weeks, i have learnt more than i imagined,
and that's pretty cool to me.
i don't dread going to work, but i don't know how long i'll be able to stay in admin.
if someone with more exp. comes along then its byebye to me.
hmmm... have to find another interest by then.
but apart from that, i am not looking forward to THE results...
hearing 'o' level students collect their results already brought back a whole wave of nostalgia,
but i think when its me collecting results,
it'll be a wave of nausea.
i just hate to think what the results will bring.
damn its stressful to be a student in singapore.


anyhoo, anyone's been to the dinosaur exhibition at Jurong Bird Park yet?
baby and i got tickets a longlong time ago in 2009,
but we haven't even been to it yet!!
the tickets are still sitting nicely folded in my wallet.
every time we decide to go,
its either a very wet day,
or there's something else to occupy our day.
its not like we could make time on a weekday to go, so we have to make it on a weekend.
that's about the only leisure time we've got.
which reminds me...
my FTT's on monday.
damn.

nobody in the world told me you could learn driving first before taking FTT.
i always assumed it was the other way round.
i bet FTT would be alot easier if it weren't me memorising a whole book of MCQs.
doing it the singaporean-student way! oh yeah!~
if i fail my FTT this time round, i will not take it anymore until i'm so ready to take my driving test.
i'll do FTT one day before my driving test. muahahaha!
but of course, someone with such driving talents such as myself couldn't possibly fail ANY driving test in the world!
of course, i'm the only person you probably know that has crashed a go-kart car into a road divider. told you i'm a natural~!

i have no time....

no time at all.
who knew i'd be this busy when i start work?
every single night its at least 11 before i get home,
i hardly remember sleeping in for a long time.
i have to do something about my rapunzel-like long hair,
seriously its beginning to bothter me even more now that i don't even have the time to wait for it to dry at night.
half the time i just plop straight to bed.
i've never been this exhausted before,
but i kinda like it in a strange way.
i hate how short a 24-hour day is though..


went to the IR on saturday~!
had an awesome great time there,
cheers to baby's aunt who got a room there,
it was mad fabulous!!
the place is really completely resort-like,
and so unlike singapore.
just feel like you're overseas, even if its only for a short period of two days.

we stayed at Festive Hotel,
the designer is really good! the hotel rooms looked pretty amazing,
and the rooms were magnified by the design,
and it was super duper cosy~!
what i loved the most was the kids concept to the room,
in which they had an additional bed that was attached to the ceiling!
just every kid's dream.

most of the stuff there weren't opened yet,
including the swimming pool!
since festive hotel was only a stone throw away from hard rock hotel,
we made our way over and it was amazing!
the swimming pool and lobby bar was the best!
not only was the swimming pool divided into about 8 segments,
they had mini enclosed areas surrounding the pool
for friends who are looking for a small private area to relax,
while enjoying the company of other holiday go-ers!
its such a great concept!


not only that, in the near future when its completed,
it will have a pool bar, as well as a live band playing!!
and here's the best part, they wanted to incorporate a beach kinda feel to it,
so surrounding the swimming pool is sand, like those you find on the beach,
with beach chairs and palm trees surrounding all round!
of course, my descriptive skills are never as good as seeing it in real life,
and i've given up on blogger to blog any pictures thus far.
so when its finally built,
save up and pull a few friends down to experience it!
its seriously worth paying that much for getting the feeling like you're on a holiday,
without having to pay for overpriced air tickets.
i really can't wait for March,
when everything is fully opened and operating,
including Universal Studios! xDD


anyways, enough about that.
its already 1, and i have to get up damn early tomorrow.
oh yeah, the fourth kind is a seriously freaking scary show!!
i swear i'm never watching any sci-fi shows ever again!
damn, i thought it was something like action-packed.
horrible horrible horrible.... :(
thank gawd i could fall asleep after watching it,
and lucky baby accompanied me all the way home,
or i'd have freaked out, i swear.
arghh.... :((
but anyways, it was a great night out with kate and baby!
TGIF was an awesome dinner choice! :))
love the service, love the food, didn't really like that fact that they changed my drink twice,
with a bug and leaves in it consecutively.
guess kate was really right, i must be down on my luck that night.

and yes, i'm still at home, relaxingg.
work hasn't started yet cos the interview got delayed, hence the day i start work is also delayed.
isn't it funny how when you're positively sure you've absolutely nothing to do,
you'll feel so damn bored!
but when you feel like work/school is starting soon,
you suddenly feel like you've got so many things to do???
YEAH. i'm feeling like i've got so many things i wanna do,
so in a way, i guess its a good thing work hasn't started yet. heehee.

BOTH were AWESOME!!!
seriously, i love jacob black now, or rather, taylor lautner~!!
gawd, he is maddd yummy!!
edward was a disappointment, especially when he was topless.
just lost completely to taylor. lols. it was a clear loss.
bella was, as usual, pretty, in fact, prettier in this movie.
it was good!! and i loved it so much!

zombieland was crazily funny!!!
definitely a movie worth watching, its not the usual stupid parody,
but this one had somewhat of a story,
and the characters were hilarious!
wonder why it was m18, maybe the gory part where the zombie was like munching on human's intestines. but hey, don't we do that too?
i mean, of course not human but like pig's intestine,
just go to any nearby market, see people eating kway chap,
and there you have it, they don't make such a big deal outta it.
in fact, i get more freaked out staring at a dead fish than watching zombies eat a human's gut.
oh my, i may have issues.
anyways, i just miss watching movies so so much,
and i'm still trying really hard to call into 987 to win SHAN AND ROSS TAKE YOU TO THE MOVIESS~!!!!!!! shan~ *sighs dreamily*
no such luck up till today, bummer.

their pretty layout raised my expectations,
but their pastas were no good, kinda tasteless.
then again, i saw everyone having pizza, so maybe they're famous for their pizzas!

its a mondayy~!

i just love holidays to the max,
i love the feeling of waking up and not having to think about anything.
(okay not totally true, i still have a plan of things to do today)
i know many people have work or school today, and here i am showing off my free time,
dun be mad at me cos im starting work this wed, in another 2 more days,
i'll be whining and complaining about all the waking up early in the morning stuff as well.
no longer will i have the luxury of waking up late, being able to occupy my mornings doing the things i like, nope. it'll be like school once more.


yays! finally my new episode of hai pai tian xin is out!
but i'm done watching!! :(( longlong wait till the next episode!

i hate to watch drama shows like that, one episode by one episode.
irritating when i can't just watch it,
but its too late now. i'm too impatient to wait for the entire whole series to show,
i rather wait one week by one week.
